    As I recall, you had three little dogs. Then a mountain lion got one of them. I am assuming you had another loss among them. So sorry for you. I have to tell you I think I'll be looking to rehome another dog in the not too distant future. I miss not having to look out for my fur friend. She was at my side day and night. Followed me inside and out. Even into the bathroom! Her empty bed is still beside my desk. I'll move it when I get my courage up.

    Yes, Cricket lost her battle with liver and pancreas failure. At 12 yrs, it was harder to overcome than when she was a year old. It was quite sudden. We haven't been a one dog family for quite some time.

    I'm sorry, same here, it's been since 1987(8?) since I had one dog, met WWW in 1989 and I had two by then and up to 5 at one time. Grateful for this little soul that loves us like we love her but it's different than the last 3 decades.

    I have known David and Sandra ever since I was little. His plant is maybe 2 miles from us. They go to church with us, in my Sunday School class.

    I am sure she is missed. I feel lost without my dogs. I usually had two, then went down to one, now none. I am so accustomed to taking care of them throughout the day, I now feel lost. I am going to get another as soon as I am up to it.
