The Sun, Not CO2, to Blame for Global Warming: Study

The Sun, Not CO2, to Blame for Global Warming: Study

Warmer temperatures in recent decades might be caused mainly by the sun and not carbon dioxide emissions, according to a new study by a team of international scientists.

The study's findings sharply contradict the conclusions of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, The Epoch Times reported Monday.

The new peer-reviewed findings, released just as the UN released its sixth "Assessment Report" (AR6), was published in the international scientific journal Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Nearly two dozen scientists concluded that previous studies did not adequately consider the role of solar energy in explaining increased temperatures.

AR6 again argued that human emissions of CO2 unequivocally were to blame for global warming.

However, scientists and solar physicists said the IPCC was "premature" in blaming CO2. They added the UN body's conclusions were based on "narrow and incomplete data about the Sun’s total irradiance."

The story continues by clicking on the link above.

NOTE - If the SUN could cause global warming it could cause global cooling.

    How Do Sunspots Affect Climate?

    How Do Sunspots Affect Climate?

    How Sunspots Reach Our Climate

The sun has the largest effect on the climate that we enjoy on Earth. Without it there would be no light, resulting in no growth, since our climate largely relies on the sun to provide the energy needed for photosynthesis. Sunspots were first noticed to affect the Earth when scientists realized that increased activity with sunspots creates increased interference with magnetic instruments on the surface of the earth.

As scientists looked further into this phenomenon, they noticed that near the sunspot, hotter areas of the sun would react with the magnetic field outside the sunspot and create a solar flare. Solar flares project a host of things, including x-rays and energy particles rushing toward the Earth's atmosphere in the form of a geomagnetic storm.

    How Sunspots Affect Our Climate

The first most noticeable effect of sunspots on our climate were the northern and southern lights, otherwise known as the aurora. With sunspots come an increase in ultraviolet rays that emit from the outer ring of the sunspots toward Earth. This increase in UV rays affects chemistry of the outer atmosphere and the energy balance of Earth. The idea that sunspots affect Earth's climate is still largely debated, but it is believed that the increase of sunspots on the surface of the sun can reduce the amount of energy and light distributed to Earth. This decrease in energy can result in colder weather and even "mini ice ages" on parts of Earth that are farther from the equator.

However, sunspots affect life on Earth through the Borealis and the Aurora Australis. The magnetic field that is projected from solar flares is much more powerful than the magnetic field that protects Earth, which creates a magnetic storm seen by the colors in the sky during these two events. These magnetic fields can also disrupt power grids and radio signals on Earth and the satellites that orbit Earth.

NOTE - Since CO2 is the cause of climate change then we have to do something about this. The corrective actions by the elite who want to control us will affect every portion of living, working and transportation. There is a fraction of the elite who would like to reduce the world's population.

True science being shared. I can dump my Prius and solar panels now......If you paid a tiny bit of attention in school the temperature has been fluctuating for just a few million years here on earth. Dinosaur farts must have been the original cause.

    Follow the science...

    1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

    2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.

    3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

    4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

    5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

I would be leery of anything published by The Epoch Times. They are a far right wing media outlet with close ties to China.

Personally, I think 7.8 billion specks, with about 30% of them living unsustainably would certainly leave their mark.

So did humans adapt to earth or did the earth adapt to man-kind? The earth used to be filled with huge amounts of co2. Plants grew dense and converted a lot of that to o2. The cycle continues...

There is a line of thinking that modern society actually over breathes by taking in too much o2. Without working the lungs, we atrophy our bodies and end up huffing after a flight of stairs. The book the oxygen advantage goes into this.

We can also take this in the other direction with holotropic breathing, Stan Groff(researched psychadelics), and wim Hoff who take in huge amounts of o2. This also touches on alkalinity of the body. Most of us are in a very acidic state.

Thing is, we humans like to pretend we aren't nature, we are. We are a part of the system. We adapt, change, advance and some die. That's how it is in nature. We can pretend we have everything under control for a while but, nature will always win.

Ps, wim Hoff breathing techniques will knock your socks off. 20 min YouTube video will bend your brain and let you actually feel your nervous system. Very cool.

It get even better (worse) than that.

The journal that published the article, Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics has a Journal Impact Factor of 1.2, is owned by NAOC Chinese Academy of Science and the journal itself was renamed from Chinese Journal of Astronomy and Astrophysics and the article itself is just a review article and contains no original data it just reviews other researchers data using different assumptions...but wait it gets even better... go check out the lead author Connolly and his "research institute" founded by himself and his Daddy and their good buddy Willie Soon...dubious at best:rofl:

Or maybe a 100 Billion Trillion acres of land that has burned in the last 1000 years has nothing to do with it either along with the 400+ cataclysmic Volcanic eruptions?

    Back in the 1970's The EXPERTS and science predicted another ICE age coming! If anyone here remembers this as I do, there was a run on Wood stoves!!! Don't forget, it was science and the experts who said so!!! Here's some article's;

Nobody can deny what I wrote and found if your over 50 years old! I remember this vividly and I never said the world wasn't warming, but it does it in cycles and has done for MILLIONS of years. Nothing about this is political, but if we all use common sense and look at the big picture you'll see it! Mans existence is smaller than a gnat fart on this planet. I spoke of my friend who was a scientist on a BIG RED USCG cutter years back, and spent 2 years of his life in the Antarctic studying Ice cores and fossils, He's a REAL scientist, he now works for the USGS and told me this about climate change YEARS back when all the hoopla started.

I remember in the 60's that the talk was of "the coming ice age"!

Lets face it, man (humans) try to change or control things that they can't! How's about daylight savings time for an example?
