Tough place to be if it was 70 out. You should save attic work for a rainy day or first thing in the am. Good luck and hydrate. :)

LOVE Block island, but I havnt been in over 12 years. My ex's sister married someone who has a small old cottage that had been in his family for years-working mans cottage that always needed maintenance, not the rich ones.

One of our fun things to do was watch those million (probably billion) dollar yachts where their dinghy costs more than my home. In the early evening sometimes you can walk the piers and just look into these palaces on the water while the owners are on shore.

Must have been pretty bad if you divorced someone who was your access to a house on BI.

That's winter work loon. If I went into an attic to work when it was 82F out they'd be giving me a ride in one of them noisy ambulances.

I was working in the garage today hanging the insulation boards I cut a few days ago, had to wait for the muding operation to get out of the way. Got most of tomorrow's stuff cut and should be ready for painting well in advance of my pellet delivery.

All good stuff Loon. I've been up there too many times in the summer. Attics are brutal, but the work you're doing sure will feel gooder if you get moving air up there with the ridge vent letting the heat out...

That is what other people are for.

I past the point of doing anything in an attic back in 1992, after spending time in the attic during July and August. That was the summer the boss and I did over a two family. Days at the office, evenings and weekends with the hammers, saws, screw drivers, drywall, blue-board, mud, wire, lights, two kitchens, three bathrooms, and other assorted stuff.
