I would not hang any tarps. Some snow blowing on it won't hurt a thing. We stack outdoors and never cover the sides or ends. No problem.

Glad to have the wood under cover with all the rain we've been getting this week.

Looks great Swags and they are a super cheap way to keep your wood under cover.

We definitely need another pic when you get it filled up :)

Got a little more done this weekend, moved 5 loads of sugar maple into the shed. Figured I moved in about 1.25 cord of the maple. That should put me at a little over 16 cord stacked. Just over three years of my own use but I always give a good bit to my father in law and last year I sold a few cord.

Very nice.... I like the away the roof hangs down a few feet too. Should really help to keep the blowing brain and snow off your wood. I will be interested in your opinion on how well you like this setup as you move along with everything. :)

I'm really liking it so far, got caught in a downpour yesterday unloading the UTV inside and it was great. Very dry but still had wind moving through.

Slow and steady, one load at a time. I got about half the sugar maple in there now. Should be just shy of 2 cord. I had a few rounds that were too long so I had to trim down a few splits, man that 460 is a beast and rips right through that stuff. And of course my little angel was helping me tonight, that girl loves being outside. I will be very excited when she picks up a saw one day. She's going to be a little heartbreaker, feel bad for the boys already.

    Nice.
It's been said, but you're gonna' love having dry wood that stays dry.
    Cute little helper there.
In that last pic, I see firewood leaning......in the form of a tree.

Your daughter is a sweetheart Swags.. I really don't want mine to grow either. Gonna be cleaning my pistols and rifles when the boys come. :)

Looks great Swags! ! Making me wish I pulled the trigger. But my little 10'x10' holds enough for a winter and that's all I need to keep under cover the last year.

Another good son looking out for the in laws. Excellent example you are setting for the younger generation who seem to have issues doing anything that can't be done on their iPhones. I hope you have been told how much your efforts are appreciated.
