    Afternoon all. Busy morning. got up early, did some chores and then went shopping for a shop vac with a 2.5 inch hose. campinspecter has to shorten 8 cords of wood by 2inchs each time he fires the boiler. Makes a lot of sawdust in a confined space. Hopefully the vac will pick it all up.

    Blue Jays play a double header today so you will know what I will be doing. The quilt I am working on is getting a lot of attention with all this baseball watching.

    Day one of several days of a heat wave. 71/68 to start the day. 90% humidity.

    I'll go for a walk as soon as it gets bright. My walk today, will be behind the lawnmower, for about an hour.

    The GE service person is scheduled to be here to replace the oven light switch/door latch.

    Over repair guy - replaced part and done.

    Went to the grocery store. Among other things, I got 4 russet baking potatoes. Baking them right now. It's in our best interests, that we use the oven more to expose any other problems.

    Good Wednesday?
    Had a pretty good storm yesterday evening with heavy rain. Spout next to our door is clogged and couldn't handle volume of water. Had a nice waterfall. I guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend.
    Today hitting 94 with heat index of 104. Ugh. My home AC will be struggling. Dont want to see the electric bill for this month.

    Had a quick storm come through this morning. Skies look like they want to dump some more.

    Happy Wednesday! Rain/storms on and off throughout the day. Still hot and humid. Went to pick up pallets this morning that I scoped out yesterday and they were gone. I found 4 across the street so that will have to do for now. Going back to Verizon to see if they can locate my missing tablet that hasn't arrived. Have a God day!

    I agree....humbles the soul for sure.
    They see me out there, running the burn barrel, tossing wood, and they just show up. I might need to train them to holler from the curb before just waltzing in. But they just show up. Just this little fuzz-head coming by the wood pile.

    If folks are not on the radar, eventually, I don’t think about them, and I don't pray for them (unless they come to mind extemporaneously). Lest I become puffed up to think they come to see me, the real assignment is to pour prayer into their lives.
