    Beautiful morning but gonna be hot later today and this week. The rest of the wood I want to process is going to have to wait.
    Yesterday in the morning I swept and cleaned the woodstove out. I need to order some gasket material for the cat combustor and than I'll be set.

    Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Off today, so we have work to do. Got to go trim the ditches for our friend, then go cut his dad's yard in another town. Hope to haul some more logs this evening. Another customer returned my text, they want a trailer load, so that makes 8 cords we need to get processed and delivered....Fans...Lights...Action...

    Good afternoon! Heat, humidity and occasional rain through Thursday this week. Finally got the mowing done last night after the church picnic. Covered stacks at the roadside stand in anticipation of rain. Today was payroll and new hire orientation. Planning to prep another IBC tote or 2 tonight to fill this weekend. Have a God day!

    Laaaate update. Kids helped out a bit today. Got quite a bit done. Hit up drill, and then some solitude time stacking in the dark, by headlamp. Spent maybe an hour, had to be quiet though!

    Texted a guy about a tree job I've been putting off since june. I almost have room for whatever that brings in (maybe 2 cord of splits left to stack). Then he tells me of 3 other trees that need to be collected! 20210809_214014.jpg

    Good morning everyone! Glad I mowed yesterday, it rained most of the night.
    Today I've got my grandson. They went up north last weekend, and took the cog railway up Mt. Washington. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about his trip.
    Who else hand weeds their lawn? I think the neighbors think I'm crazy. It just makes sense to me to yank those suckers out!
    Made my first batch of gazpacho for this summer. I use bottled bloody Mary mix for the liquid. And some cherry tomato juice. I'm expecting a lot of ripe cherry tomatoes after this heat wave. IMG_20210810_44495.jpg
