Another vote for bear.. especially if berry laden.

 

The same way corn does.

 

I think the bear's internal gathered as much nutrients from the berries as it could and then the seed passed as they are designed/intended to . Just like a bird eating them. It's how the seeds are spread, no?

Can you imagine if we (humans) ate that many berries for a few days in a row just how quickly they would leave our systems???

Not necessarily whole, but filled with seeds and skins. Like someone pulverized a large batch in a bowl.. just mixed in with other leftovers.

I agree with others about it being bear scat. See a lot of it around the property.

If you want some dessert, I can hook you up with some fresh milk duds (moose droppings behind the house).
