I brought two dump truck loads of wood home and my tw6 to finish up wood for my son who has a firewood business in front of our house. He put a long day in but we got this all done and even though he was beat, I’m very proud of him working on this all day as a 10yo.
Very nice. So nice to see one of today's kids not afraid to get their hands dirty and put in an actual days work , so many of today's youth would rather sit and play video games or be on their phones. Both yourself and your son should be proud.
Nice work guys. Cant believe how big Robbie has got in the 2 1/2 years ive been a member here. Great to see him still going strong. He should be able to retire when he hits 20???
Good job and great to see! Embrace it now because before you know it, working with dad will give way to a "real job", cars and girls!
I’m already losing him to sports and friends. Not looking forward to the other distractions for a teenage boy!
Thanks. He knew he was in for a long day and I knew he wanted to quit but he kept on going. In a 10 year olds wisdom, he said “dad I didnt want to work all day but now I can use other days to play with my friends.”
Tell him great work & FHC is proud of him jrider ! That's a good amount of work for a 10 y/o. My grandson is 8 & he'll work 5-6 hrs. splitting & bagging campfire wood. They get distracted for a while as teens, but the lessons they learn working stick with em, ya just gotta be patient.
jrider it is so nice seeing father and son working together and learning life skills. Hope his firewood business does well this year.
Hear hear on fathers and sons having man-time together. Now mine is out, I'm so glad I soaked up every minute. I'm glad my kiddo is turning out better than I at his age. I am joyful that our relationship is solid and awesome because of our many hours together. What he learned at home, he is taking with him and turning to be profitable. Carry on!! Sca
