    Afternoon all. NO, I did not sleep in. got up and went for our walk, breakfast, chores, grocery shopping and Blue Jays watching. They swept the series. Now it is time for bookkeeping and more chores. I should really dust around the living room as we are getting company for dinner tomorrow night.

    Good morning everyone! Still cooler here. Today a fellow is coming to replace 2 window frames and a bit of siding. I'll be making tomato sauce, might have to run out for more garlic. We didn't split any wood yesterday, but he was a great help picking the tomatoes. IMG_20210802_51650.jpg

    Good morning
    Did a bunch of yardwork and firewood processing saturday.
    Yesterday there was a light drizzle off and on for most of the day. I didn't feel like splitting wood in the mud, so I went to some antique stores with the wife. It did get nicer late in the day, but by than I lost all motivation. Had some heavy rain at night.
    61 and sunny right now
    Off to work in a bit, though I don't feel like it. They should make weekends 4 days long!

    Morning All. Heavy overcast this morning but no rain so I turned the sprinklers on. Didn't get out in the garden yesterday but I got my bookkeeping done. Watched the Blue Jays win and even made it down to the sewing room. We have company coming for dinner so I will have to do a bit of dusting in the living room and tidying up. With the new boiler, we are not getting as much dust upstairs so I should be able to go longer without having to do it. It is one of those jobs I keep putting off but once I start, I actually enjoying doing.

    Midwinter that was a nice haul of tomatoes you got. If I garden next year, I am going to try cherry tomatoes. I always thought it would be too windy in my garden for them but I have noticed that it gets quite warm down in the garden patch.
