Good morning everyone! Been to the dump already, got lucky and found some red maple. Only took the nicest rounds.

Today is the day my husband wants to get the conduit for the grape trellis to block the view in back, his idea. If he builds it, I will plant it.
We have grapes in the front of the house, and they are doing great, with all the rain we've had.
    It poured again last night.

Today I'd like to mow the lawn, once it dries out.
    Happy Friday!

One would think... let's see I..

    Went for a walk
    Vacuumed the van
Went weed killer on some discovered poison ivy.

I get to take a full shower today, and have the dandabed replaced.

**Edit.... just did some grocery shopping. Picked up margarita mix.

**Edit 2... just made and ate a hearty lunch.
Rotisserie chicken reheated in gravy made from boiling carcass
    Boxed cornbread stuffing
Sauted zucchini, onion, tomato, with some Italian seasoning

I think I'm now done for the day. I think.

Good afternoon all. About 68*, cloudy with a good breeze. Not working on the brush pile today. Wrist is bothering me. Move it just right and getting shooting pains.
Nice grab Molly. What type of grapes will ya plant Molly?
    Have a great day all.

    Good morning, everyone.

Cool and dry to start the day. Temps in mid 50's with dewpoint in mid 40's. That should slow down the mosquitoes.

I'll be mowing the lawn this morning. Maybe some weeding after.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning. It really feels good outdoors right now. It is humid as there is a bit of fog but that should burn off early. Supposed to get close to 80 today then cooler again tomorrow.

Good morning... :coffee: ... Supposed to be only mid 80's today I believe... Yesterday was 100F HI of 108F and dewpoint of 75.... Need to do some TLC to the weeds today... They seem to love the heat....

Good morning, brother. Glad it has cooled down a bit for you. I think we get a few 80's next week with chances of rain.

Good morning. We are having another couple over for a fish fry this evening. The weather has been nice with low humidity lately. Not much else to report, but a busy work schedule. The garden is pretty much on autopilot this time of year. I am picking about half of bucket to tomatoes a day, which will be ramping up through August. I core and freeze all the tomatoes we don’t eat or give away until sauce canning time.

Good morning everyone! 54° this AM, feels like fall. I did a lot of weeding yesterday, with the cool temps.
Chazsbetterhalf, the grapes are just seeded Concord grapes. They are pretty tasty. I eat some, and the squirrels and raccoons get the majority.
I think I'll set up a new wood rack today, so my grandson and I can carry on with the splitting.
Going on a virtual boat ride with Brandon now. sF9M89D.jpg
    Enjoy your Saturday!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. Another night done for me. Got to replace a couple deck wheels and bolts on the mower this morning, then plan on bucking some wood. We cut a small yard that was knee high grass yesterday, then I moved some post oak logs to the splitter to work on today.
Our new guy is finally trained, he starts solo Monday...we all will have more time off, but less OT...:(...:emptywallet:sure has been good since Nov...
Guess we can cut more grass and wood now...
Don't worry about tomorrow...it isn't promised, yesterday is gone...can't change it...enjoy today, that's why it is the PRESENT.

Good morning, sister. Long way from 54° here this morning, still hot enough for my glasses to fog up when I go outside from the AC...:nerd:...

    Good morning!
Been up a couple hours, studying, forcible entry training today at the VFD.
I Love early mornings, perhaps from years of early morning bike rides, launching boats at sunrise for an early (and usually windless) sail.
But more than anything, because each day brings hope, a freshness, a newness. And In Him, there is always hope.
Even if I am confined to a wheelchair one day, I can still raze hell via prayer. There will be hope and newness then too.

Love and blessings for the day,
    Sca

Morning All. Fog this morning which will burn off to a gorgeous warm day. This may be the last of the over 70F days as we have a small system off shore. Rain predicted for next week. Got some more peas planted yesterday. Started harvesting the potatoes and it is a disappointing harvest. The potatoes are in better shape than last year but they are small and not too many of them. I am waiting to see how the potato bags produce.

Elijah traveled to Zarephath and God took care of him and a widow with her son through the flour and oil not running out. He will take care of you as he did them.
For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah. 1 Kings 17: 16

    Happy Sabbath, everyone.
