Happy Wednesday! Today is the last day of the broken record hot weather for a while. Rain moves in tonight and cools off a bit. I put a yard sign out in front of the roadside stand last night to draw a little more attention. Also slapped together a quick and dirty pallet sawbuck. I made about 12-15 rounds with it and it works pretty well. I'll give it a workout on Saturday. We walked down to our newest neighbors and introduced ourselves. He is a police officer from a few towns north. Nice people. Probably build another rack from pallets tonight since I picked up another load of them this morning. Have a God day!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. My last day off, we have been cutting grass and wood. A trailer load of hickory Monday afternoon and 2 loads of oak yesterday. Our heat index has been the highest I think I've seen since we got the weather station, 126° & 128°, maybe it was wrong, but it felt like it. I think our cooler had 15 bottles in it Monday afternoon at 4:00 when we left, it was empty at 9:00 when we got back. Got a load of firepit wood to deliver today and our BBQ man is picking up a load of pecan this afternoon.
Be encouraging, share the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

That is brutal humidity to work in, Jeff! Are you looking forward to sitting in the AC at work?

Morning All. Blue skies with clouds around the edges. We are in for sunny weather for a couple of days. Had a good day yesterday. Drove to the end of the road on the West coast. From here, water taxis take people to fishing camps, First Nations villages, kayak camps, logging camps, etc. A lot of this was traveling on gravel roads which was not too bad for this time of year.

Stopped at an old secret camping spot of ours. Creek has changed the area so we wouldn't be able to get the RV in there anymore. You cross the creek to get there.

If you follow the creek down, you come out at a lake to swim in.

Happy Thursday. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Warmish here. Can’t complain, in the past 3 months the heat has tremendously helped my arthritis. Not fixed by any means but better. Go hoard something.

    Good morning, folks.

Nice clear day to start. Fairly refreshing air.

My trip to the dermatologist yesterday, went without issue. A little discomfort for a few days. Anxious to hear about the results from testing what was removed.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

    Awful crap for weather.

This morning it really feels like a sauna outdoors. Much worse than all day yesterday. Looks like it may straighten up some later as a system just moved through. Rain missed us.

We've had 2 freezers for years and I tried for the past 3 or 4 years to talk Judy into cutting back to one. I finally was able to get everything in one freezer and sold the other yesterday. Put an ad on the local marketplace and sold it about an hour later.

Good morning everyone! It's a cooler day, high 60's, good for working outside until it rains. Chvymn99, I can't imagine how you can function.

And excavator chewed it up in about half an hour. I made a short video, but it's kind of boring, unless you like that sort of thing.

Yesterday I used my new hedge trimmer on the two 12' tall yew bushes next to our front steps. My husband held the ladder. It cut really nice, but today I have to clean up all the clippings. We weren't organized enough to put a tarp down.
My grandson won a raffle at camp, got to meet the mayor (of Malden, MA)! IMG_20210729_075222.jpg
    Good Thursday for everyone, please!

Good morning! Another humid start but things are supposed to improve after scattered showers move out later today. Filling gas cans at lunch as prices are finally coming down a bit. Music practice at church tonight so likely no chores being done. Have a God day!

Morning all. Beautiful morning with sun coming out over the fog on the water. Temps were over 70 yesterday and I think we get the same today. I worked in the garden for a bit. Potato crop is a bit disappointing but we got a feed of peas for dinner. I planted bean seeds so we will see what comes up. I think that heat wave in June really messed with my garden.
Headed over to Mom's today. I want to see if I killed the moss on her garage roof last time we were over and campinspecter is going to cut the grass. We are working on the archive project as well. Busy day today.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon everybody. 64 and rain today. We still hadn't dried out from the rain we had before.
    What did Neil win Molly?
Mike waiting to hear good news from you.
Glad your arthritis is going better Brandon. Today, my wrist and hand is a little ache.
    Have a great day all.
