Me too (reading glasses anyway) so now I keep, lets see, 2 pairs on the coffee table, 2 pairs in the kitchen, and 3 pair in my office. I used to keep 2 pairs in my purse, but lost one of those suckers, so am down to one pair.

Reading glasses are the ultimate for herding together - I'll find none in one room and later find 4 or 5 pairs in another.

Check in a mirror. You might be able to see them then.

During the move, I "lost" a miter gauge for the table saw. You know, that adjustable bar that fits into a groove in the table saw top and you can adjust the angle of your cuts as you push the material the saw?

Checked on the web for a replacement and figured it would be around 15. Wrong, Kemosabe!

Dang things start at about 55 and go up to over 100! WTH? They aren't made any longer and good luck finding them from a supplier.

99 suggessted waiting awhile, maybe it'll turn lup. I figured it bounced off the trailer.

Three weeks later, I found it while looking for something else! :rootintootin:

Standing answer around here, since beginning of June, when you're looking for something is "It's in a box"

Not a tool but I pulled into work as my nephew was cleaning up glass from the side window on his truck that he broke while trying to get in after locking in the keys.
    He was pretty po'd
I looked at him and said "didn't you zip tie a key under the truck when you bought it ?"
    Sure enough

The other end of the string has a dog leash clip that clips on the measuring tape ring on my wedge pouch.

IIRC, they sold the fabled “cottage” and bought another property. But yooperdave can fill in the missing pieces.

    Here’s a clue, wildwest -

Possibly but you'd still not have lost it.
I spose you could just wear a dog collar and just keep it under your shirt.
