Yes we have a ton of cast iron cookware too I love the stuff! That set is a redstone set from Tractor Supply they clearenced last year for $15. They are by far the most used of our pans.

I like cast iron cookware. Use it at the cottage a lot during the fall and spring on top of the nc-13

We bought a beautiful stainless pan set and where convinced that was the past set then I met cast iron.. We use cast almost exclusively now lol and the poor stainless set just sits and looks pretty! Lol

There is no match for well seasoned cast iron. I have friends who ask how I cook eggs on cast iron. It's all about seasoning.

You have that on a glass top stove. Any issues with scratching? We have a white glass top. I must have lost my mind when I bought white glass. I wanted the stove because it has two ovens. But we never use the second oven.

No it is actually pretty tuff but we don't slide the pans around either so that helps keep it from scratching. Honestly I think we are going back to gas... I love the glass top but hate the electric I miss gas. ( ha miss gas! )

I hear ya about the gas. I would love to have a gas top stove. Instant heat and cleaning is so easy. I seldom cook these day. In fact I haven't done anything in our kitchen this year. (Injury and wife prefers I stay away from her kitchen). I do have a full compliment of countertop appliance in my family room so I can fend for myself when I feel the need.
