There was a thread on this board a while back where someone rented a processor and shared a brief picture and story documentary of the process. Also had some suggestions to maximize work flow to get the most out of the processor.

    You mean this thread? :)
I borrowed a wood processor for the oak score next door
I believe he will work for pizza and if you play some Slayer or other 80s metal in the background, his work output will quadruple automatically.

I rented a dyna log processor last summer. As long as you have the means to load it, you'll be in good shape.

I used my Kubota L3901 to load, and conveyed off into a 16-ft dump trailer so I didn't have to move the processor. As a first time user, I was able to load, saw, and split approx 40 good sized logs in around 4.5 hours. I had a tractor driver, a machine lever operator, and a few laborers for the side jobs (hauling trailer off). It really isn't hard at all.

My only advice is spend the extra time and split some of the logs a 2nd time. I was in a hurry so I split each log only once - no matter what the size. This left we with ALOT of wood that still needed split again. This can be easily solved but it takes an extra split now and again.

If memory serves me right, I had an FC-16. It cut a 22" log NO PROBLEM!

    Wow! o_O
That is a lot of logs, but if I had the money and means I would do it.

If I did that right now at least I would have years of work to process as I would be single
