I think we also might be getting some smoke from Ontario from what Loon sent me, no wind at all today so the chit is hanging around but that will change when the cold front moves through, it could get severe in certain parts of the north country.

The last I looked at the map loon sent me, here by our house should be okay (could change) but further north near my old hometown of Massena along the St. Lawrence River should get hit.

We have a severe thunderstorm watch on but that will change to a warning before or by 4 this afternoon.

 

Instantly turned black here 10 min ago woods,big rain thunder but the wind hasnt started yet.

 

Makes me wonder what our place would sell for. But in the end it really doesn’t matter we are going to be here for a long time.

You can come to Maine. Continental US most dikes of dirt roads but the majority of those are unorganized territory owned by major wood companies IE Irving woodlands, American Forest Management , Wyerhouser, and a lot of not so much smaller companies.

 

I was going to set roots in Maine but I needed outside income at that point in time, where I liked was not close to airport or employment.. ahh life and choices. I’m blessed with great life, wife, many great neighbors etc etc

The smoke was especially smelly today from these fires out west. It's been hazy due a couple of days, but nothing like today, and you could smell it.
