    Just noticed a for sale sign in front o a house down the road. Standard colonial with a bonus room and detached 2 car garage. Built on a hill above a swamp. 5 acres 433,000$

    cant wait to see what the tax assessors think of it if it sells…

    We were on the front porch when I noticed a very nice sunset about to happen so we took off in the truck too get a better view of it, by the time we made it to the end of the driveway, the smoke from out west covered it up so you couldn't even see it.

    We did take a ride so the dog enjoyed it. Attached are two pictures that you can see the smoke. IMG_1999.JPG

    I didn't realize we were in for it until I watched our local news at 6, they're out of Watertown NY and had a picture of the smoke rolling in.

    I didn't realize it either thewoodlands , we've been hazey here too and I thought the campfire smoke was from campers. Makes sense. :confused: I hope everyone is safe and not too many homes get burned.

    In the interior of our province, we lost a community to wildfire a couple of weeks ago. There are over 300 fires burning in the province.

    That's nothing, I been remodeling since 2014 :D

    Okay, it takes me a lot longer to get any project done. Oh wait, I never truly "finish" anything. And I really don't have a plan, just do things as the mood strikes me. And the couple of years I was working two jobs didn't help. And I have to teach myself just about everything - usually more than once. And I'm doing landscaping too (without any mechanical help).

    And, I really, really like to read - so that just may be part of it :rofl: :lol:

    I could probably come up with a few other excuses too :emb:

    This is a house 2 properties down from mine. He bought if for $44k at auction in 2014, and it went up for sale at $199k. Painted it red and may have put on the roof (I don't remember).

    This is a working class town so I couldn't believe it when I read "This home is priced with the updates/repairs in mind that a new owner would most likely want to do". Went on the market 7/8/21 and neighbor said it went under contract on 7/10 (had at least two offers that day).
