Just in from feeding the skeeters. :( Dew point of 71 with a temp of 71 & light rain. Sweating like mad even in the drizzle. Trying to clean out a spot for another carport type building. Not nice! Stephiedoll , that looks like a mess! Good on ya for helping the neighbors out. Hope things get put back right real soon.

popsicle ( ingredients: water, sugar, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup and a bunch of other stuff needed to bring to market) and unsugared ice tea day for sure
gotta lay off these cheap popsicles that were on sale, they're like eating a spoon full of sugar.

Hit 71 degrees at the house today. I’m nursing some frustrating back spasms that bug me from time to time. I refuse to take pain meds or muscle relaxers. But beer and ice packs seem to help:confused:

Not going to complain about the forecast for the rest of July. One day at 79 next week however the rest of the month is showing most days in the low 70's with a couple in the high 60's. Nighttime temps will be mostly in the high 50's and low 60's. There is rain for most of next week however the remainder of the month is looking dryer. For July, high 60's and low 70's sounds great to me (compared to what it could be!).

Low 80's and typical Summer feel. Mix clouds and sun today. The gentle breeze made us decide to grill but eat inside with the AC going. Punky chunks and pallet scrap in the pit. Marinated chicken breasts on the charcoal. IMG_5380.JPG

We normally grill 2-3 times per week and like to eat outside at least once a week during the warm weather. Being so humid and a record already for rainfall in July it hasnt been ideal to be out there even to just cook. I work outside and once i get home the AC has me spoiled. Im the charcoal/fire guy!

I’m a grilling machine too! But I mostly use propane out of convenience. I bust out the charcoal grill maybe 5 times a summer - for special occasions. The charcoal chow definitely tastes better IMO.

Dont like gas. Never have owned one. Had a gas grill blow up in my face and dont mind starting the charcoal. That way i get to play with fire...safely of course! 75% of the time ill keep the fire going. I sometimes sit on the deck after supper. An old box fan blowing keeps the skeeters at bay.

A pleasant 62 this morning but supposed to get hot this afternoon at 86 degrees. Most of the week is supposed to be nice except for the heat today and tomorrow.

Nothing beats good chow cooked over a fire! (Cowboy steaks and duck l'orange in the pics).

The pics were from bear camp last fall. Luckily for me, bear camp is a friend's house across the street from me!
