I picked up a new splitter the other day. It’s a Supaswift 25 ton and looks to be a good unit with a 2 yr warranty. It’s been raining pretty constant since I picked it up so I’ve only split a couple of rounds of some stringybark gum which is straight grained and did it easy. Look forward to seeing how it goes in some gnarly yellowbox.

No mate I have a smaller one that my dad bought about 15-20 years ago. It’s low and slow but has done a good job but getting tired. I will see if I can dig up a pic of it

Does look very much like my dht splitter. And I’ve had great luck with mine for the 6+ years (I think) I’ve had it. Only Split around 30-40 cord but I’ve never stalled it. I like that it goes vertical easily when needed. Enjoy your new “unit” :bug:

I got out this afternoon for a couple of hours for a bit of splitting and stacking between showers. Very happy with the splitter so far
