Good morning everyone! I'm late this AM, been watching Brandon's livecast. Like being out on the lake myself. Sure beats the fog in NH.
I went and picked up some more bagged rabbit poop yesterday. I think I'll get back into composting, buying bags of peat-based promix etc. was just too expensive. I pick up most of my leaves in the fall with the lawnmower, which shreds them, so I'll just mix them with the rabbit manure. It's great stuff for tomato plants. Mine are 6 feet tall now with lots of green ones, just waiting on some hot sunny weather to ripen them.

Got to get busy on the woodyard, had some orders come in, 5 pickup loads...2 customers want 2 each, so we will put that on the dump trailer and make 1 trip to each place. Fun in the shade, I hope...

I can see fine. My annual optometrist appt, was back in June. He noticed a bit of clouding behind the implant.. the laser takes care of that in 5sec, so I'm told.

The guy who dealt with my cataracts, is the same guy I saw yesterday. One eye in September, the other in October.

 

Do you know his last name?

Happy Wednesday! Humid but dry today. More rain moving in tomorrow for the weekend. I managed to clean up the blowdown that was in the yard, left the rest in the woods for later as the mosquitos seemed to like me a bit too much. It might make a small bit of firewood. I won a Craftsman saw at an auction for a bargain price. Picked it up Saturday. I was a bit leery but I fueled it up last night and it started on the second pull. Ran like a champ. Hopefully I can try it out this weekend. Have a God day!

 

Morning All. Again overcast skies with the prospect of clearing later. Headed over to Mom's early so campinspecter can unload the truck before the sun comes out. Heading down island tomorrow and with a planned power outage, I don't know if I will have access to the internet first thing tomorrow. Busy couple of days coming up.

We are not there this year but are going to Sparta Ill. at the end of the month for the Grand American National event. It is the largest event in the Country and attracts people from all over the world. Alex is shooting in the 22 and younger portion (AIM). Last year he won runner up in the doubles event and this year we are aiming ( pun intended) for a first place trophy !

Good afternoon all. With all these daily rain showers, it is a mud pit here.
Had my ct scan yesterday. The spot they were watching is gone. Pulmonary will still be following me. Have a video conference with her January. Will have a CT scan once a year.
But I guess they just started a new policy for smokers. Guess they are going to start giving them yearly ct scans now. Chaz had his first one yesterday also.
