I ran this saw with 24" - 32". Just a plain ole woods ported 066 work saw with 16" and 8T. Ported by a logger racer friend in WV. Ran so well another porter 40mins north of me got the numbers off the saw to use in his builds.

This was with the saw set fat at 14K no piston work, stock oem piston.

I usually had poplar or aspen left over from my racing gtg's. So I used that for testing in back then. Now I just use what ever rounds I have on hand with bark on, be it ash, oak, maple etc.

I think I got vids testing in 23" spruce. Let me go check. Think I was running the 32" bar though. Was on the saw already.

    Full comp square work chain

with rakers taken off more for testing and pushed on it hard in the cut and hit a huge freaking knot at bottom 8" of cut, not good for the timed testing cut.

    LOL :)

I would be asking a pretty penny if I sold it. Figure the saw, plus the bar, and the "extra" power $$$

You could buy a new 461 for less than what's in this thing ;)

Granted I couldn't sell it for near that because it's used. But I have a lot tied up in it.

I wish there was some racing near me. I have to get me a good chain and 10pin for my 088 fixed up. I want to see what it will do in some square wood.
