OK, by popular choice the member designed saw will have: An after market muffler with a tuned pipe. A OEM half wrap top handle. Target date for the auction will be first week in October. The auction will run 9 days starting on a Friday night and running through the next 9 days. I chose first week in October so that all the 'back to school' spending is done and the holiday spending is still a month and a half out. Bids will start at the parts cost $612.00 plus $200.00 labor plus shipping to the winning bidders' location. If the bidding goes over $950.00 I will throw in a new Husqvarna 20" Tech-Lite bar and new chain for free! Also keep in mind that MDavlee offered to port the saw for the cost of the machine work!
True, I was able to keep the cost down for two reasons, I computed the cost based on my cost and some of the most expensive parts I have had in stock for quite some time so the cost was very low compared to now.

My question to you KilliansRedLeo. Say a member voted for a full wrap handle, a OEM muffler, a low top, Etc..Basically something that wasn't a majority vote on a poll? Can they have that item put on the saw for them? If you had it in stock and on the shelf?
Since the starting bid was based on the parts voted on by the membership, specifying a different set of options would impact the pricing of the saw. An example would be the OEM muffler vs aftermarket, about a $55 difference in cost for the muffler itself, same kind of thing for the top handle. Parts that I do not have in stock would have to be ordered from HVA at current pricing. However something can always be worked out.
The standard vs the HD filter swap is not a big deal, just the filter horn, filter and filter cover would need to be changed, cost would be a wash. Any or all of the things you asked about would not impact labor cost at all, since it is fixed at $200.00, unless you wanted it with a Jonsered 2171 case, LOL!
