Went down to the vets and sign on door said lobby closed so call. Left my phone home. So went across the street and picked up a few groceries. Got home, unloaded groceries and killed some time and then Holly and I went back down and got em.

WinonaRail hope you are feeling better with your sinuses. And the A/C gets fixed, that's a double whammy.
We will see what the evening brings, need to start on the woodyard...oak sheds are echoing, they are so empty...

Mother Nature said hello, overnight. Thunderstorm with heavy rain came through 3 30. 1/2in rain. More later today. Then what's left of hurricane Elsa rolls through tomorrow.

I'll be running a few errands this morning.

Good morning everyone! We got a downpour in the early morning too. Dry during the day, then about 24 hours of rain, from 5P today until 5P Friday. Thank you Elsa!
Today I have my grandson, no camp this week so there is some slack to be taken up. Too cool for swimming but PYO raspberries could be an activity.
Woodwidow and campinspecter keep hoarding! It doesn't get much easier than that.
Brandon, tell us if the fish got all riled up by the storm!

Good morning. The power is out currently. I know it went out before 7 as Chaz's alarm didn't go off. Tried coming back on a minute ago but didn't make it.
Had thunderstorms come through last evening and looks like we will get more this morning.
Looks like it will only be in upper 60s today. Had 84 yesterday.

Good morning! Scattered showers rolled through last night into today. Just small bands so useful watering but not causing problems. I was able to open the window in my office so the temp has come down to 78* inside. Music practice at church tonight and I'm thinking about expanding my roadside firewood stand to include loose piles (approximately the equivalent of 5 bundles for the price of 4). I might tackle that tonight. The sinuses are doing much better today so maybe I'll be productive.

 

Morning All. Overcast again this morning. There has been no rain with all this, just a light misting in the morning with the sun appearing around 1:00 PM.
Headed over to Mom's today with the load of firewood we got yesterday.

Good afternoon y'all. Hope y'all have had a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Working 7AM-7PM this week, cloudy this morning, a little blue showing here and there now. Started cleaning pit the rest of the master closet last night, going to put flooring down, hope we have enough of the hickory left from the bathroom walls, if not, we have some tigerwood left from the kitchen remodel several years ago.
Then we have to make more/better shelves and clothes rack in it.
We have to get more wood cut too...
