I always say I should take pics of the stuff I see at work. Well here's how yesterday's 3-11 shift started. no that's not a road down there. And before the night was over I got fleas.

That an All State insurance van? So... what happens when they gotta get that van outa there and you guys gotta do your work too. Who goes first?

 

Just went out with Giz. Bout 56 and calm... awesome temp. The whole tribe is coming today. 3rd B-day for the oldest grandson. We added a 8'x8' sandbox and a slide to the ole treehouse that was here when we bought the place. He'll have fun in the sand.





I know... there's wood to split & stack, still...

 

It looks like a case of the night time flying van, except he didn't know he couldn't fly. Big ouch hitting that pole!

 

That's a nice job you did putting that sand box together.

 

Thx. 2x12x8' pieces screwed together with 4x4 chunks in the corners and 2x4s screwed to the inside bottom edges... so the weight of the sand keeps the box from sliding up off the sand. Had that happen on our kid's sandbox 100 years ago... Had to make this box bigger too cause I know Dad's gonna be right in there with him... 2 truckloads of sand filled it.

Gonna be busy today, my wife is coming home and for some reason the house is a mess , I have to do the grocery shopping, make Chile and someone also made a mess in the garage.

 

She should have done this as soon as he opened his mouth...
