    I found a guy with a personal saw mill on his property. All the 'leftovers' from the lumber will make great firewood.

    I do all the cutting into lengths, and I get to take half. I'll help him out with the splitting once the pile gets big enough.

    So I have a new source of wood that looks like this.

    It's still doing OK.
    It seems like, if I can lift the logs up onto it, it will split it (with some exceptions).
    I estimate it has split over 5 cords since I got it.
