The storm dropped our temps from 81 to 70 at the moment, the rain didn't last long enough but it sure did come down hard for about 20 minutes.

Nice Boat! I don't blame you for being attached to it. I'm afraid fire season has already started in central oregon. 4 small Wildlands fires were put out yesterday by quick response times and common sense. The biggest one was on the east edge of Redmond on hwy 126 burned about 30 acres.

I am a bit Sentimental about “Plum Crazy “ I don’t remember a time that boat wasn’t a part of my life

I would down right Thrilled if none of the fires this year went over 30 acres, but I think winning the lottery is more likely

I don’t know how many acres were involved in the Warm Springs fire recently, but we got quite a bit of Smoke from it, and we’re on the other side of Mt. Hood from there. Before we knew where the smoke was coming from, we were getting nervous that it was a fire closer to us, fortunately not.

64 this morning and still humid but with the temperature down it isn't so bad. 74 predicted for today.

Sadly that pocket of extreme heat is moving east. I see 90 forecast for Monday and Tuesday.

In 20 minutes we received 0.65" of rain. Yes it did come down hard along with some small hail.

Loon is sending us more storms from Canada which can produce some heavy rains if it hits our area. Tomorrow NOAA is calling for half an inch of rain on the high end.

43 degrees cooler than Monday. Sitting at a pleasant 70F looking at the brown sides of all the evergreens.

Not many girls in skimpy bikinis in that weather. I hate summer, truly least favorite season of the year!! But living on the coast there sure are many positives lmao

60 and Seattling steady here since late Wednesday. Tomorrow more of the same. Mr. Monsoon seems intent on staying a while for the barbecue on Sunday too. I’m glad I have Monday off or else all this rain would really send my attitude down the drainpipe. At least I won’t have to worry about watering my garden anytime soon.

Thunder and lightning, raining hard, mid-60's, and I'm in a hoodie again. I think Cash Larue is getting nailed right now with big hail.
