You don't have to smoke so much that you get high. (define high)
It's a calmative, a couple sips of beer can be too.
Some people use it, some abuse it. Like many other things.

And just because you have had enough experience consuming beer that one or three “doesn't effect you” does not mean that it has not had any effect on you.

I would think if someone was just drinking beer cuz it taste good they would have a n/a then the impairment would not go along with it.

I don't recall anyone giving any excuses.. only their experience, or lack thereof.

But to answer the question, yes, I liked to smoke pot because of the relaxing, euphoric feeling that it provided.

As someone who's often referred as "wrapped too tight", it was the perfect way to unwind after work.

I didn't respond yesterday, as I didn't know just where Chazsbetterhalf wanted to draw the "privacy line".

We smoked about .5 to 1 gram per night for well over a decade, with some exceptions.

But when I failed a UA at work, I had to quit, or forfeit my job. So I quit, simple as that.

I had no withdrawals, no 12 step program, only bi-monthly meetings with a "drug counselor", who basically asked "Have you smoked in the past 2 weeks"?

That was around 4 years ago, and I still abstain because I value my job.

If I could I would, and if/when I can retire, I'll light up and enjoy what's left of life.
    :smoke:

BTW.. As anyone who's met me at a GTG can attest, I don't drink beer simply because I like the taste.

On a different note, I know the type you refer to all too well, after my parents died, my sister and her boyfriend wanted to move into the trailer.

I flat out refused, they used way more than MJ, and neither could or would hold a job.

After they cleaned up, I did let them live there, $250/mo rent. It wasn't about money, but to emphasize that I wasn't gonna be the "new caretaker" after my parents passed.

He's now had a job steady since 2012, still an azz, but some things ya just can't fix.

They have their own place, and surprisingly, they recently called to say they want to pay to have the quad trailer he F'd up fixed.

    So who knows??

Nor the poisonous effects the body sees when the beer is full powered.

    True enough, cigs, alcohol, MJ..

I can certainly tell ya which has shortened my lifespan the least, but the remaining 2 are in close competition.

I think cigs may have the lead.

So, I will say that I have used mj recreationally for the better part of 2 decades. In that time I have held a job ( one employer was for 17 years). I do not use at or before work. Make pretty good money. Own a home( mortgaged) pay more than the monthly payment required . Have two kids that are above average compared to their peers. Never use around my children. All of the tires on both of my newer vehicles are the same size. And can guarantee you no one has died/been killed because of my habit. I know many very successful people that do the same.

Marijuana kills people just like guns do…

Yea I like the Buzz. Just as I do when I drink. I believe that some people use it as a crutch. But there are so many people out there that smoke and hold down good jobs be it dr, lawyer, customer service reps and nobody has clue they smoke. I have actually heard a judge say he smokes on public TV. Everybody has their own way of getting a buzz.

I have heard many employers in mass. Say they do not drug test for mj cuz if they did they wouldn’t be able to hire anybody…
