Dry eye, my eyes/nose run 24/7 so I keep roll of TP at my desk. And the kitchen. And our vehicles. I wanted to tell yooperdave a new trick I found to help keep my TP roll at my desk (just like tape measures, WWW always snatches them like a clepto on his way out of the house in the morning), maybe he'll see this after he's back this fall...... I took a hot pink sharpie and drew spokes on both ends  :rofl: :rofl: . Any bets on when I find a hot pink marked roll of TP in his work truck? (he has allergies) LOL, helps a little bit, except I have a picture from the 90's, he's walking down the stairs while on vacation and both his socks have huge H's marked across the toes  :rofl: :rofl:  (I like to wear men's tube socks, they go up to my knee when chilly, push them down when hot, but he needs the xl size so he blows the elastic out).

Spent the better part of the day finishing drywall and installing lights. Going to do the same tomorrow and work on plumbing while mud is drying. Going to try to get an early morning and late evening coat on. These 14 hour days are starting to catch up with me....granite guy is supposed to be here Tuesday....not sure if I'll be ready.

He finally got into cell phone service and texted!!! Took kiddo with him to do roofs in the mountains today and they are a couple hours late tonight. There was an accident before the Lodge he was going to stop at and pick up dinner so they turned around and went the other way. PHEW!!!! Still all jacked up from worry :picard:but Thank God they are safe and it was not them in the accident that closed the highway.

Oh you'll probably get some of it. It rained HARD Thursday night. Yesterday no rain and it was a perfect day for the water park, and not working. It's raining again now.

I haven't been having much luck with grass equipment. I have a good (if it was fixed) lawnmower in the house, I think it's a minor issue keeping it from running but haven't had a chance to investigate. The other week, grandfather mentioned getting rid of his old one, rusty body but runs good. But he bought a fancy self propelled Husqvarna and now my uncle who does it for him doesn't want to use the old one. So I took it, almost had the driveway done, and it stalled out. When I went to restart it, the pull cord was snapped off. shoved it under the house and I'll fix it, ditch it, or scrap it at a later date.

to top it off, my whipper snipper had been refusing to start. I took it to dad's house, knowing he's stubborn enough he'll eventually figure it out. Apparently after some research, it just needed an adjustment. Seems to work good now (hope it stays that way), but dad's neighbor had recently given him 2 whipper snippers. Hadn't been used in a couple years. I took one of those home and left the other one with dad for now. The one I took started right up and no issues. The other one needed fuel lines replaced from sitting so long.

so I did around the garbage box, around the perimeters of the house and garage, the driveway, and cut a pathway across the front yard about 100' long. That was enough for one day. Everwhere but the driveway had the chance to grow a couple feet tall or more, around the garbage box was nearly level with the top of it. All with a whipper snipper. It did pretty well considering...

Apparently tuck and roll is instinctual, I still got it!!. I can feel it a bit in my legs/hips/foot, but hoping it won't be too sore tomorrow (or spine/pelvis out of wack). WWW is assembling a small gazebo kit we bought last summer, we were pushing it w roof part on furniture dolly and I stepped on a round rock the same color as the cement patio, my foot/leg came out from under me like stepping on a softball. Sideways, than all the way down, ended up with rolled back and feet in the air on the grass.

on a scale of 1-10, how busy am I this weekend? My neighbor 2 houses down had an oak and a black birch taken down, and I only know this by the branches that my wife brought home to use for the mud kitchens....so I would say I am somewhere around a 14 on the 1-10 scale.
