Our VBS ended Wednesday night. I didn't get a chance to help this year. Had to work.
This was a boat we built several years ago for VBS, the theme then was JESUS IS OUR ANCHOR.

 

Sounds like a great day. Teach them young. Thanks for all you do for others, brother.

 

It feels nice down here too. Yesterday morning was nice too.

 

That's really cool! I was wondering what they did about the pointy parts.

 

Good morning everyone! Another beautiful day. Some pool cleaning to take care of, then I'll go back to the Korean supermarket with my husband and a friend. I was there yesterday, got some frozen soft-shell crabs for like $2 per crab. We're going back because my husband wants to take his friend, who just moved back to NH from Shanghai, after losing his wife to cancer.
Father's day this weekend, I got my son some funny shirts. He works from home now.

Morning All. Gorgeous morning. We are in for a warm spell. Got the lawn mowed and brush cleaning done about the yard yesterday. Today we are headed over to Mom's. More yard work to do there. When the rain quits here, everything needs mowing or cutting down. I have carrots up and so far the slugs haven't gotten to eat the pac choy or spinach. Peas are doing well. I still need to hill potates but maybe tomorrow for that.

Great boat! We use lots of blue tarps for water too. We did Roar this year. We had it around for awhile since VBS wasn't an option last year.

Happy Friday Eve! A pleasantly cool morning turning warmer this afternoon. Day 4 of VBS happens tonight. The theme each night is God is good!

 

Good morning. Beautiful cool morning. No work today so Im sitting on the deck listening to the birds and cicadas. Might go shoot some sporting clays today and do some fishing tonight. Walked the new pup to the stacks. Havent been up there for a little bit. Grass is getting tall and weeds growing behind some of the stacks. But that's a project for another day.

One more day of cool temps to start. Heat and humidity returns tomorrow.

We got the word that Dad will be allowed to return home tomorrow afternoon. It's been almost 2 weeks.

Good morning. Had some significant tooth pain, a root canal (my first) and a crown this past week. Thank God for modern dentistry! I am right as rain now.

Got the day off today. It is 63f and calm this morning. Garden chores are on the agenda today.
