    Good morning everyone! Pool day today with my grandson, the water got up to 70° yesterday, will be moving on up today!
    Yesterday my husband wheedled me into a car ride to Vermont. We stopped at a garden center that had 3 of the biggest black locusts I've ever seen! IMG_20210606_4827.jpg

    The bark on those must have been 4 or 5 inches thick. I came home with some nice plants, too.
    No pounding on cherry today. The two I've done were the biggest ones. M2theB has very kindly offered me a 5-ton electric splitter that his dad doesn't need anymore. It may not be able to handle wood like the cherry, but it'll be fun to play around with.

    Hot but beautiful day yesterday. Got the mulching done around the house, and bucked up the logs I got from my BIL. Wanted to finish them but someone ran out of 2 cycle oil. :whistle:
    Today will be even hotter. Both my sister's have pools. Might need to visit one of them.

    Good morning all. 80* already. Pool sounds nice. I got the mowing done. Chaz got a drainage ditch done around the barn.
    Going to smoke a pork loin today. I think that will be the activity of choice today.

    Great day at church today.

    Last thing we were doing differently was the sacrament was not being handed to us. It had been on a table and we took it as the pastor blessed us.

    Today we all gladly took it from the pastor directly.

    Masks have been gone now for a couple months so we are back to normal and so glad.

    Mowing done right after church to beat the heat.

    Have a great one everyone. Everyday is a blessing from above.

    I'll be going for a walk ahead of the heat.

    I'll then harvest an amount of rhubarb, cut to 1in pieces, bag it, then into the freezer.
