Kinda my thoughts as well Dave. Come to Maine, I’ll show you how glaciers work.
This is the water depth in Moosehead Lake about 15 feet from the shore of Kineo island. The shore is a 300 foot vertical cliff wall. The water gets deeper out just a little to over 300 feet. Really impressive to sit there.

I'm willing to bet that 10,000 years ago in North America, the natives were huddling around their fires, watching the massive ice sheets recede and arguing amongst themselves who was to blame. It was mammoth flatulence! No, we had too many fires so we are to blame! No, we didn't sacrifice enough offerings to the Great Spirit and now he is hot with anger! But surely such an advanced civilization such as ours has it figured out by now. We have science after all, when all those people had was a shaman. And our science is as pure as the freshly fallen snow, not funded by special interest groups nor is it corrupted by politics and agendas. So we can see into the future with pinpoint accuracy, and now we know that we have less than 12 years to do everything on this well thought-out wish list or else we'll all be under 300 feet of water by midnight November 2nd, 2032. The science is settled. Anyone who dares question our gospel must be held to ridicule, silenced, and censored. They're on the wrong side of history.

Well, weren't we told there would be CATASTROPHIC sea level rise by 2012? Our Harbor here in Cape May hasn't risen but .0068 inches since that proclamation. Hmmmmmm.....

The alarmists can't go wrong with their predictions. Reason being, if they don't come true, they use it as evidence that whatever new regulations they come out with are working to curb climate change. And if by some chance their predictions ever do come true, they can shout from the rooftops that they were right all along. So it's near impossible for them to go too far in any of their claims, because people will buy the narrative regardless of whatever reality actually plays out.

I remember when it was hairspray and Macdonald’s styrofoam burger boxes and R-12 refrigerant were going to kill us all in the late 80s. Now it’s plastic grocery bags, gasoline powered cars, and anything other than solar or wind electricity. The narrative keeps changing to suit the one’s speaking the propaganda. Nothing has come true of any of it, EVER.

Those items you mentioned all contained a gas abbreviated CFC’s which cause ozone depletion and were banned by most countries by the Montreal Protocol of 1987. The ozone layer has started to return to it original condition but isn’t fully there yet.

Having lived in Australia for a year; my adopted grandparents watched this fellow religiously. I met them was riding an off road motorcycle through Southern Australia (province) and stopped to help a gentleman (older) change a flat tire on his caravan ( tow behind RV). They offered me food and a drink as thank you.. so they showed me stuff off map and I helped them splitting red gum!

I listen to him a lot, he uses a lot of common sense, BUT like with most rants, personal experience opinions tends to slant objectivity.

    Don't forget the cow farts......

Has anyone seen the Netflix show seaspiracy? While I don't agree with everything in the documentary I admired how he called out the plastic banning movement (which according to the film accounts for an extremely small % of ocean and marine life damage) and tried to go to the source of the oceans biggest threats.

Fear sells and business is booming. They'll tell us what and who to be afraid of. They'll tell us who the good guys are. They'll tell us who to blame. They'll be the keepers of our conscience. They can do this because this is what happens when you don't question anything and buy everything they're selling.

And (There) is an instance that WILL happen, it's just a matter of time! So, no matter what we do now, getting hit with something the size as of a football field will destroy most living and breathing things in over half the planet! It has happened before! The cartoon is really hypothetical now though... No person has ever seen an impact of any significance.

Nor will any likely be around afterwards to speak of it either.. under current conditions at least.

Here's what I find so humorous, open this link and see the "BILLIONS and BILLIONS" of acres of land that burned Just in Canada alone from the 1800's. Where did all that smoke and pollution go? This is just Canada! More Co2 when into the atmosphere than every single car in the world could put out for 1000 years. List of fires in Canada - Wikipedia
Russia has burned forests for land clearing. MILLIONS and MILLIONS of acres. And I'll state again, this earth has done this on it's own for billions of years! Nobody put out forest fires just 100 years ago. They burn't themselves out!

You know, if look at this issue from the supposition that climate change is real and caused by humans, you'll find no shortage of information to solidify this reality in your mind. Conversely, if you approach it from the exact opposite supposition, your belief system will also be validated with information supporting your denial of it. So is one side right and the other wrong? Or stranger yet, is reality subjective or objective? If you take any hotly debated topic be it God, politics, climate change etc. and take a firm position on something, it's hard not to come to the conclusion that the "other side" is either grossly wrong in their thinking or living in an entirely different reality. Here's to hoping the UFO thing will bring about some wild revelations that will change the course we're on, although I think it's more likely that we'll be left with more questions than answers.

Facts! And that's what speaks! People don't seem to also realize, (and I've seen this with my own 2 eyes) crude oil burps from the sea floor every day by the thousands of gallons! It's been doing it for centuries.
