They had cut the ends off of the post he used. That is what he was taking initially till we put a stop to it. He over ordered on the post x 4. But we did get them back.
How do you order 4 extra post for a pole building...I can see girts and purlins, but posts seems intentional. Maybe have 1 extra in case you mess one up, but even that should come out of the builders pocket.
Yeah, and we're facing rain pretty much all weekend. Thx, I'm very happy we finally could put one up.
Actually, the man above was very kind. Not only did it remain fairly dry, but twice this weekend I didn't have to syphon water via garden hose.. they had enough water inline to self start. Still a muddy mess, but way better than it could have been. Yesterday.. Today.. Had to move a hose to the other drainage ditch today..
Looks real nice. Love watching build threads. You’ll always wish it was bigger, but the key is being organized with the space you do have. Could always build a loft or partial loft/mezzanine to store items you don’t use much. It poured here this holiday weekend as well.
Indeed. I'll be thinking a lot on how to efficiently utilize the space available. Still need gutters to divert watershed, drainage, grade and backfill the wood storage area. More berm is supposed to be removed, we'll most likely use that for fill on the northern side. Gonna be a busy year.
Ima tell you a little something about the amish... they (or at least some) will FU any chance they can. The amish are lying theives when it come to the "English"
Glad things are coming together for you. Great to have a inside work area. Id be lost without my workshop after having one.
