His worm farm in the kitchen keeps waking him up with all the noise.

 

Morning All. Warm this morning and not raining so we will get our walk in. I am headed up to the church this morning to clean up the mess the pastor's wife and I made cleaning out the pastor's office. Hopefully we will be able to hold church again by the end of June. Our communities are scheduled to for second shot clinics through out June.

Good afternoon everybody. Have the we last 2 pieces of wood in the stove. Will be letting it go out. 60 and clear blue skies.
Chaz is on the 4 wheeler with the brush hog. Knocking down some of this tall grass. Much needed. Good breeze to help it dry out.
Amish back Wednesday to hopefully finish up the barn.

My pastor gave me a cool and appropriate shirt yesterday after church. We are taking them out for dinner, he helped me get the rear axle bearings and seals changed today.

 

Yes. I go to bed early. Every morning the dog and I go to the RaceTrac to get coffee. At 3:30 we meet my fishing partner there. He is 76 and gets up early too. He also loves my dog. He keeps a special bag of treats in his truck just for my dog. She loves him. She starts howling when she sees his truck when we are still on the highway.

We received over 3 inches of rain since Friday. We are still below average for the year but, the recent rains were welcomed.

Dry today. Low 50's to start. Good temps to cut some maple across town.

Good Morning. We had a nice time up north. Our son and his group of 5 buddies came out of their canoe trip on Saturday after 7 nights and 12 lakes. Then they stayed on with us another night at our cabin. We cooked a lot of food for them...and they ate it all!

We enjoyed their stories, youthful joy and energy.

We had good weather as well with temperatures ranging from the upper 30s to low 60s, which is perfect for outdoor work and activities.

 

Good morning everyone! Yesterday wasn't a washout. My grandson got some biking in around the neighborhood. Today and tomorrow will be the best days this week, before we head back to the 90's.
We're calling the vet today, the cat may have a UT infection. She's overdue for some shots anyways. I hope we can go in with her, not just do a handoff and wait in the car.
June 1st, I guess it's summer now...

MikeInMa we are about the same temp, 53° around 6:00 this morning, heading up to about 85°. And still DRY. Might get some rain by the end of the week.

Taking the tractor over to Bro Stan's house to load up some old building materials to haul off to the dump. He bought a house here, said they have made many friends here and like the area. He said we were stuck with him even if he wasn't our pastor later...lol...glad he chose to stay here.
Got to go to the flooring store and look at tile for our master bath, pick up some plumbing supplies..

Morning all. Really warm here this morning. Went for our walk. I have chores to do around the house. campinspecter is headed over to Mom's to mow the grass before the rain comes back tomorrow. Garden is really coming along. I need to get more peas planted and try Pac choy and spinach again. this time I will be using slug bait. I will have to figure out when to harvest the garlic.

A very late good morning for today...or is this a very early morning for tomorrow?? Hmmm.

Thought I'd better check in since I've been AWOL for a while.

Two weekends ago, not only did my youngest get married, but I was able to spend time with my granddaughter and grandson, my kids, family and friends

It was a wonderful weekend in Red Wing, Minnesota, except that my bride was sick and stayed in the hotel room all weekend and missed the wedding.









This past weekend we had our last fire of the season by burning our mortgage.

 

Nice thing to be burning in the fire. I am glad you got a picture of it. thanks for sharing the family photos.
