Those 13 bags of concrete mix, will turn to 13 rocks if you don’t keep them perfectly dry, they will absorb moisture and will be ruined in no time. If you don’t use them soon, they will be junk.
Very true. For now they are in the trailer, but I do need to find a way to store them better. I'm sure Chazsbetterhalf has some projects in mind.
Well ya know what I want. We all ready discussed it. Lol. The cement went in today. Had a few showers come through. They ended up just hanging bubble wrap plus a few panels real quick to keep the rain out. That will be done correctly tomorrow. Then sometime next week yhey will put the doors up.
That looks really nice. Chaz will have fun working on that floor. And you will have a nice splitting area.
Yes, it will be extremely beneficial, and something I've wanted since we purchased the property. Pond not in yet.. Well, I do know my next projects. That 'crete won't see winter in a bag. TYVM.. There's a few things I'd have had done differently, but stuff that's minor. Not sure that FHC is ready to see me dance.
As Chazsbetterhalf mentioned, some quick downpours came through today. Think I'm gonna need some gutters. That's a lotta water. Edit.. I can't imagine spring snow melt, given that this was from short, gully washer type of rain today.
The Amish won't be here to finish up till Monday. Thought they would be done by Tuesday. But Tuesday they have a wedding so I really don't think they will be here. But we will see. All they have left to do is east and west walls and the 3 doors to finish. And then we have final cleanup etc, ect.
Maybe a good size ditch to carry water away as well. Lotta water coming down the hill to your new dam and off the roof, too.
Tell your contractor you will buy the two extra posts he took home from the last build and put up the other lean to now! At that rate of "extra" material, he can build a free barn after every seventh barn!
