    Good morning, folks.

Nice cool day to start. Refreshing. Upper 40's going to mid-70's.

I have an empty wood rack that needs some leveling. So I'll be scraping, not cooking, some dirt. Then, maybe a walk.

    Stay safe

Good morning everyone! A nice cool morning to start. Yesterday I did some splitting, to make room for the cherry rounds, which I'll cut up today. It's always a shuffle in my yard to cram more wood in! The cherry, once split, will go in the empty rack to the left .

I probably will take a dip or three!
    Have a great Tuesday!

Morning everyone. Up at 4 exercising. Slapped in the 2 window air units by 530 much to the sleeping wifes surprise:) My normal June install was scrapped. I couldn't stand the sticky humidity indoors any longer. Humidity be gone I say!

It's going to be sticky here too I think. We've been lucky on that so far with yesterday being the first really sticky day so far. That is what I hate about summer. I remember some days like that years ago but nothing like we get every year now.

True to our area, it's been very humid and warming up. One thing I was appreciating about it yesterday, it brings out the aroma of my unseasoned wood racks. I pointed it out to my wife yesterday, although I don't think she enjoys it as much as I do. LOL That's part of what makes all the effort of being a hoarder worthwhile. Everyone have a blessed day!

Morning all. Gorgeous morning today. Headed out for our walk. We got Cricket eating again yesterday so hopefully the setback is behind us. She has a vet appointment for Thursday. After grocery shopping and breakfast, I am headed up to the church to help clean out the pastor's office. We purchased a photocopier so now we have to make room for it. This will be so much better than little printers that spend time spooling and not printing. Busy day again.

    Everyone have a great day.

I wonder how that sawdust would be to sprinkle on charcoal while grilling?

I don't know, but it's sprinkled at the dump now! My car smelled good driving there.

If you noodle some, and then soak them in water, it should smoke good...
I could send you a box of mostly pecan noodles with a little oak and hickory mixed in 0505211832_HDR.jpg

I have to show my inexperience here, I've seen it mentioned before, but what is noodling? I'm guessing it results in the long stringy pieces of wood from sawing?

That's awfully nice of you to offer to send the boxed noodles, but I have a lot of leftover pieces of white oak and hickory I've set aside. Thank you!

Noodling is when you cut the wood with the grain.

Good morning. RACETRAC WAS OPEN! My boy Trey was there. He does good. He wears a doo rag all the time. One morning he didn’t have it on. He was a dead on ringer for Michael on Good Times. I call him Michael now, he thinks it’s funny. Man did we get into the fish yesterday. Called my new Tiktok friend in Deland and he’s coming. Ex military and owns his own bass bait company. The weather is really nice now. About 90 for the next 10 days, humidity rolls in Saturday. Go hoard something.

    Good morning, everyone.

After a couple of really nice days, the heat and humidity returns today.

Being up this early., I was able to see the partial eclipse of the full moon. Orange in color. Very cool.

Of bit of organizing of our screen house is in order this morning. It's looking a bit messy.
