It's on Thursday night, it has been a while since they played each other in the playoffs so it should be a hard fought game. I'm taking Toronto for the series winner.
They had some great games. When I was young and we lived out in the country, we received three TV channels, two were out of Canada and one was our local station out of Watertown NY so we saw plenty of great hockey games.
Congratulations on the Bruins beating Washington and moving on. The Toronto vs Montreal series is at 1 game a piece with the third game tonight, it should be a good game.
I'm a Chicago fan but a kid I coached for three years when he was young plays for Toronto so I'm hoping they win. The kid I coached signed late last year with Tampa (was with Buffalo for most of the year) so he won his first Stanley Cup since signing with Atlanta who drafted him third overall. I'm hoping he gets a second shot at the Cup this year with Toronto. Zach Bogosian Maple Leafs' Zach Bogosian on Rasmus Sandin: 'I've Enjoying Playing With Him'
Another close came last night with both goalies making great stops, game four tonight should be another good game.
Some very good hockey games this year. I thought the coach for Montreal was going to blow the game when he pulled back his forecheckers in the third period, the first two periods Montreal put a ton of pressure on the Leaf's defense and Sandin coughed it up twice giving the Habs two goals. If Matthews and Marner don't get going, Toronto could be history.
What has it been? 17 years since toronto got out of 1st round. I' m thinking its going to be 18, with the way they are choking in OT. They had all the pressure last night in OT and another turnover sealed the game. They'll be joining my Pens on the golf course next week.
If the M & M combo can't score a goal they might be history and the coach can't keep sticking Joe Thornton out on the powerplay when he has better players on the bench. The one player that I would have on the ice more is Jason Spezza, but for some reason the coach hasn't. Whatever team moves on will have there hands full with the Jets.
Since I put up the Montreal meme in post #11, Toronto can't win a game. Here's one about Toronto, maybe this will bring them luck!
