I was using my 192T yesterday to cut up some small limbs. Saw started fine and ran great. I shut it down to stage more limbs and the saw wouldn't start. I thought I may have flooded it. Let it sit for a few minutes and it still wouldn't start. Pulled the spark plug and all looked good, it was a bit wet so I dried it off. Then I noticed I had been trying to start it with the choke on. Took the choke off and it started just fine. Amazing how you can do something correctly hundreds of time and then can't remember how it should go. Hope I am not the only one with senior moments:BrianK::BrianK:

Or you forget to put the cap on the fuel/oil and it gets dumped down your leg.

Or you "swear " to yourself that you filled the gas so it would be pointless to check.....

You don't even need to be old to have senior moments. Btdt. Usually with the switch set to "off"

Reminds me of the good old days when we had carburetors on Harleys. Didn't matter how many years you had been riding, sooner or later you forgot to flip the switch on the petcock (and it was usually when there were all kinds of people around to laugh at your momentary loss of memory).

lol it can get worse, took the dog to the vet the other day. It was hot out, had to wait in the pickup, so, decided to roll the windows down. Punched the button to put it down, nothing, thought, hmmmmm switch is bad. Punched the switch a couple more times, same thing. Turned the key off and on, nothing, then, pulled UP ON THE SWITCH, the window comes up! I had run the window down when I first got in the pickup!:bug: Talk about feeling dumb!

Not a senior moment. Ive done that numerous times either with the choke or neglecting to put it in the "ON" position. Some of my saws the switch automatically goes back to the on position so im either trying to turn it on or forgetting.

For about a week I've been looking for the keys to the locks on the gates and a few other things. They're on a lanyard that I put around my neck when I come in. I looked for a week in both garages when I was out there and in the house. I finally mentioned something to the wife last night and she said that she saw them while she was walking in the house or garage so this morning I was looking over all the areas in the house that I had checked before but without any luck until I looked at a chair I go by daily in the basement, they were hung off the side.

    S hit strikes again.

When I came in today the wife gave me a look, yes they're hung up where I usually put them was my answer.

I have new ones but I usually wear my older ones when I'm working or just sitting here on the computer. My eyes didn't change much ( just got my new glasses two weeks ago) but maybe I'll start wearing them....when looking for chit.
