Looking good so far. The Amish sure are hard workers. I dealt with several crews on jobs. Always very quiet and respectful. Just put their head down and work type of people. I recall one had a huge auger on his skid steer. The posts were laminated beams that were part pressure treated and part kiln dried. The building was a huge horse arena. I think it was around 80' wide and 120' long.
And a few more. What i found interesting is they hang them upside and when they flip them, the kid on the ground uses a board to push the top up.
Last picot the day. Thru will be back Friday. The rafters are all in so Friday will probably be walls and roof. Cement floor is next week.
Honestly, I can pretty much assure that she will have little interest in the barn other than to see how much winter heat we have. I've made many mistakes twice before learning the lesson. Fortunately marriage wasn't one of those instances.
