I really like setting up my reciprocating saw and using that to buck branches and small stuff -- 3 inches or less. I have a pruning blade and some wood blades as well. I get the feeling that a lot of people prefer small chainsaws for the same job. Which do you prefer?
Small chain saw. I have two top handles and a rear handled one. Never tried sawzall for pruning even though i use one on a fairly regular basis. I also have a Dewalt 20V pole saw which works okay.
Battery saws all is pretty handy on the little stuff. I just usually don't take it with. I like the battery chainsaw for that stuff too.
I’ve got two cordless sawzalls and have tried them on Amal stuff but always went to the 180. Now with the 20v dealt chainsaw, that’s the go to for smalls around the yard. Made the mistake of teaching my wife to use it and everything is cut way back now more than should have been probably. also, for lilacs and such, I really like the dewalt pole saw with just one section on it. Keeps me out of the lilac and the lilac branches out of my eyes
