Seems I'm forever doing some things a bit different... Yesterday I moved some wood that was split at our GTG. It went okay for the first load but the second load got my back and neck really hurting so I decided I would unload the wood from the FEL but not the trailer. So I backed the trailer up to the wood pile...and went too far, Nice stack tipped right over. Now that is a first for me.

So today I went back to straighten up the mess and unload trailer. I was thinking while working about my neighbor who always says it is better to do the job twice because you get more practice that way and get better. Ha, right then he showed up to view my screw-up.

Too bad the wood stack didn't tip into the trailer for you.

Havent been able to turn around and back up a trailer with the tractor well for years now :) if I still used it much I’d need to install mirrors.

Had a Whoops today also my friend. Mowing the edge of the driveway and went a touch too far to the right. She is still stuck and I will try to figure out a rescue plan in the morning!

Bit the bullet and ordered some ag tread tires for 'er this week...the next time I get 'er stuck, it will take a JD 5020 to pull it out!

Yep, stuff just happens. I've bumped stuff with tractors trailers etc. Usually trying to get just a little closer. Funny on the neighbor's keen sense of timing though. At least the stack didn't just fall over on it's own.

That's what I thought. When I read Brian's post I thought about telling him about what happened to you but then I saw you already answered him.

Did that myself this morning. Thankfully I had a 50' rope and could keep the tractor up on dry ground.

The double whoops that I can never forget was on my dad's part. I was 14ish and we needed to tear down an old 20x25 barn. Dad chews both my and my brothers butt before we start cleaning it out about not stepping on a nail and needing to go to doctor. We start and inside of 15 minutes dad grunts. I asked what and all he could do was point down. He lifted his foot and a 2x12 comes up with it and a poo covered spike is sticking out the top of his shoe. The next day we started ripping off the roof, same thing. Butt chew about falling off before we start and 15 minutes later my brother and I look at each other up on the roof after hearing something and dad is gone. Fell off roof and was rolling on ground holding his knee. He never went in for either accident but "treated it" with a couple pulls off of the jug kept in the shop.

No winch, I broke that a few years ago.. I let it sit overnight while I pondered on how I would get it out. Saturday morning, I hooked a strap to the front and rear of the mower, put a strap to the center of that and ran it to the truck and dragged it about a foot sideways. put a wheel chock behind each rear wheel then drove it out.

Definitely was not stuck like yours brenndatomu...I think I would have left yours as a yard ornament and surrounded it with flowers!
