Holy cripes Pete. I hope this all turns out to be just a passing thing. At least you have a good nurse to take care of you at home! Prayers done.

@Pallet Pete @BrianK Hope all is still well for you both. Hopefully all is well for everyone else as well. Most of us have probably never met each other, but we all have a lot of respect for each other, and that should mean a lot to each of us.

The number of replies showing up so quick shows what a tight group you have here. You can add my wife and I and our four kids to the list of those praying for you too Pete. Those kids can pray really hard too.

I hope everything turns out well for both of you.
Would you share the results of the tests with us or is that too personal?

I don't know about Pete but I took off the rest of this week to rest. I had a benign arrhythmia but it sure had me rattled since I had a heart attack and triple bypass 6 years ago. They said it was from stress, not enough sleep and too much caffeine.

My wife, youngest son and I took a very relaxing day trip to Erie PA yesterday to pick up an old pair of Roll or Kari organ dollies I found on EBay last week. We use them for moving wood stoves and filing cabinets. Then we spent the afternoon at Presque Isle enjoying the scenes, sand and the sun and skipping stones in the surf.

Just what the doctor ordered. Literally. He said to give up caffeine, get rest and cut out some of the stress.

My son spotted a log rolling in the surf and asked with a wink if we should bring it home because the FHC crew would be proud of us:

Thanks for the pictures, they are lovely! What gorgeous lighthouses. I see your son wanted to play in the sand...;)

I took off Monday as I felt awful then Wed for testing... Apparently there is more to come. The good news is no more seizures but the migraines persist again.:picard:
Its been just preliminary testing right now and all is good so far but they want to delve in much farther.

@BrianK I am glad you took time off brother that looks like a blast. We are going WAYYYYY up north this October for a week of R&R!

Pete, I had the MRI yesterday at Sparrow. Not sure if they will find the answer to my migraines or not but is worth a try. Tomorrow is the wife's turn in Lansing but not at a hospital; just doctor's office but no doubt surgery will follow.

Pete and Brian. Glad to see you're both getting better or at least on the road to getting better. As far as cutting out coffee goes, I've been making the switch over to tea for the last week or so. Don't miss it as much as I thought I would and I feel a lot more even-keeled in the morning. Plus, it's cheaper!

It just occurred to me that it's medical situations like this that make being a few years ahead on your wood supply all the more important. It's a stress reliever in and of itself.

What annoys me about coffee is it isn't really bad for a person unless your like me and literally have it running through my veins as Wishlist would say lol. There are herbal tea places around too if you google them you might have one near you. We had one for a long time but the gentleman retired and its now a chinese restaurant...
