Just be careful once you start healing. Its way too easy to resprain it. I had one that I sprained pretty bad once, then I continued to re injure it over and over that summer. At one point I managed to sprain the other one too, so I was a total mess.

A friend is a sports medicine PT, and told me I would have been better off breaking the ankle, it would have healed faster.

Thanks very much, trying my best. Won't be sorry to get the roofing part of it done, need a decently dry and preferable not too windy day for that.

That happened to my wife and she was on crutches and in one of those Air Cast things for six weeks. Be careful and if they suggest physical therapy try to do it. At the hospital the doctor said it would have been less painful if she had broken it.

Huh, the guy that gave me a quote for Lennox said he used to favor the Mitsubishi but now favors Lennox because of part availability (they have a depot down in MA). It seems like all anyone around here deals with is Mitsubishi or Lennox. You would think I live in a rich area instead of a middle to lower class area. Can't get anyone to come out this far that sells the middle $$ stuff (like the Daikin the Midwinter mentioned).

Doing a search on Mitsubishi versus Lennox mini splits has interesting results - looking at forum types, not ads or the "what is the best" type of articles.

Ouch. Mine is slowly getting better. I have to be careful, but it is loosening up some. When I exercise it it seems to get easier to walk. But then it will start to get sore so I rest it and it then starts to tighten up. So I rest it and then slowly repeat. I have next two days where I can go real easy on it. So I think I will. I’m really wanting to get some things done though, and probably could if real careful. But, I don’t want to chance a setback. So, I guess. I will be watching TV and walking around on our nice new FLAT hardwood floors to exercise it. Sit down and do the bills, etc.

Thanks. I’m going to go very slow and careful. I’m considering myself fortunate that it wasn’t/isn’t worse.

Got hardwood floors installed yesterday and early this AM. That's the last of the hardwood for the entire house. Feels good to have that done.

Will get some trim installed this evening hopefully....should have everything 100% wrapped up by the weekend.
