Bet your right-on. We've had a record cold July here in Ontario as well.

Been snowing in AK on the slope. Not exactly normal. Snow here usually by Halloween.

:D....we just had our 5 coolest July on records since the 1800's when records were started. So far we've only had like 9 days in the 90's this July.

I am loving it. Low humidity the past few days, temps in the high 70's, low 80's.
Sticky stuff coming back in today though.
I can handle temps up to 90, but that humidity is awful, even when it is cool it can make it uncomfortable.

Makes me wonder what this winter will bring--I am ready!!:MM:

    Uh... That's too hot!

It hit 72* yesterday and I was sweating like a nun in a horehouse. Haha.

Our overnight temps have been in the 40's/50s pretty much all summer with the exception of a few 60's/70's thrown in here and there.
Our neighbors at the cottage are yoopers that have turned into "snow birds" since about the 90's. Almost every morning, you can see smoke coming from their wood stove!!

Weather has been great. I want to load up the porch with firewood already in anticipation. Prebuild a perfect fire in the stove just waiting to be lit.... I'm too quickly becoming like the rest of you addicts.

Hopefully not too soon. But it is coming. I think it has been three + months since a fire and the it ought to start up again in a little less than three months.

I am hoping all the new insulation and putting a fresh baffle gasket and such will help me to keep under my wood budget. I have 2 cords allocated per season, but had to dip into the next years stack last year.
HOWEVER--I still get giddy about burning!! Bring it on!!

Same thing here, only 3 recorded 90 deg days and lately nothing higher than the low 80's. Weird summer

If you sleep with your saw, always use a chain guard. Or, wear chaps to bed...
