I emailed the company to get details on pricing, but they have not replied yet. Do you mind saying what this splitter cost?

I do not have a price sheet or receipt handy. It was over $5,000 I believe. Before Covid flu shutdown everything, you could go to logging shows, see every model, try them and place a deposit with a show discount. If you live in the right state that might still happen. It is expensive , but the build quality is phenomenal as is the increase in throughput

I believe woodsnwoods has a 25H and his price point should be close.
Mine is a 26 Super and went for $7100 with electric start, log lift, pans.
Added the six way wedge for $480. A little pricey for what it is but once you spent the seven you might as well go for the wedge.
You can order them with different options but mine was a prebuilt.

I will check the tag tonight. I think I had a slightly longer bed , but no matter it was huge step up from my yardman 27 ton. That yardman split a lot of wood, but the log lift is ten x better than vertical splitting! I can not remember how many times the wood slipped and the entire unit started to lift!

I’ll correct myself. Mines a 25S. Just going by your pic I assumed you had the 24 or 25HH. They are all available with longer split lengths as options.
Took mine out this morning. Splitting some more crappy pine rounds for the burn pit. Figured I’d smash em up a bit to speed up the burn. I did stop it on one round with the six way. Had a couple 4” branches running through the round. Never thought to turn up the gas, still running at 1/4 throttle. I just stuck another split in front of the ram to push through the bottom pieces only. It all went after that.
Not looking to destroy this thing on fire pit wood that’s for sure.

I saw that. But that was special pricing. Either way, much more that a rugged made...

Yep. Log lift on a horizontal at waist height rules. Btdt with rounds and a h/v in vertical mode.

Yep, more than a rugged made for sure. And I would have bought a 37 ton rugged made but they were sold out online.
After the misery I’ve had with the DHT I decided to spend the coin and see what happens.

I have put at least 200 face cord through mine, zero complaints. I mean 30 inch diameter 22 inch long hard maple and hickory. You will not be disappointed. At first you just think you might have over spent. After several hours you realize things are very smooth and without headache, with huge piles of splits.

    I can’t find a data plate. I am pretty sure it’s a 25hh though.

I just bought a splitter that will be delivered next year. Really wanted a log lift but my wife would freak out. Maybe in five years.

    keep the pics coming though.

We operated an American splitter one time. Really nice splitter. I think it was 11 or 13 hp Honda, and about a 6 second cycle time. The only thing I didn't like was the 4 way was not height adjustable.

My Super split is American made. Everyone said the same thing. The TSC Chinese Speeco kinetics are "just as good", but much cheaper. Guess what, they were NOT just as good, not even close. Tons of problems from inferior steel for the racks, and safety issues. They were all recalled and taken off the shelves. Every kinetic brand other than Super split that has come out has had issues from DR to Speeco to Timberking, to Split Second, etc. Each time newbies would tout the unproven models as "just as good as Super split"

    Buy once, cry once.

Ran some more wood through it the other day. Gotta say I’d take the four way over the six. The six way floater is just not a good design IMO.
It’s gonna be interesting seeing what I can come up with for a box wedge that actually works LOL. Especially considering I’m going to try not to modify the machine whereas it cannot be converted back to original. So a floating box.
I think I can I think I can I think I can,,,,,,or Good Lord please don’t hurt me now :) The last is a little Robin Williams that has stuck with me since the 70’s
