Not worried about the tire; more concerned about what appears to be a rectangular box in that fire.....in a cemetery! :bug:

Got a coat of drywall mud on last night and decided it looked ready enough for sanding. Got up early and sanded before work. There are a few spots that need gone back over (par for the course with my mud skills), but overall not bad. Depending on what time I get home from my son's ball game this evening I may be able to fix those spots and be ready for primer tomorrow night. Looking like I'm right on schedule to be done painting by end of day Saturday. Possibly have flooring and trim done by the following weekend. That would be a new record for me (3 weeks start to finish).

Been busy with all kinds of stuff here. No more wood burning going on. Small project here, small project there. Constant stuff to do.

I have also been helping a brother on a job away from home on my days off. Glad that is now done!

Kids are working jobs, going to school part time, and doing school work. My wife has been working double time as teacher during COVID and trying to keep getting a few horse rides in a week in between all the kids stuff, and animal chores.

I hope all of you hoarders are starting to get some decent weather.

We had several trees taken down by our neighbors down the road. He has a bucket truck and does tree work on the side of his full time job. These were too close to the house and power line for me and a bucket truck was the way to piece them down. That’s been done for a couple weeks, I probably already told you about those. Anywho, I just found the time to get the piles all cleaned up. Moved to a big ol burn pile I will torch in the rain after the burn ban is lifted. Each spring they have a burn ban in effect from March 15 through May 15.

The M6040 did a great job on the piles with the hydraulic thumb on the backhoe. What a time saver! Between a big bite with that, and loading the front bucket, each trip made a big difference. My wife finished up by raking and picking up with the wagon behind the wheeler.

We now have the yard cleaned up enough that I can cut the grass for the first time tomorrow. And does it need it!

To all of you: I hope you and yours are doing well. Stay safe and have fun!

They've got Dungeness crab though. Nothing like that on the east coast. There's the peeky toe crab, but not many know about that.

Chilly morning. I'm going to have to bring more wood to the porch... 80's followed by frost and may get into 20's tonight.

Wild swings in the temps. Is that normal for spring in your area?

Usually not this wild but lots of ups and downs in spring. And if we get a NE wind, which is common in spring we get lots of cooling off Saginaw Bay, but it depends on how strong the wind is.

One time while attending Delta College we had only a light wind. I had classes in afternoon and drove with windows open. About 10 miles and I closed windows. Another 10 miles and I was running the heater. That's how it goes...
