so were you just at the dump for a quick fix?

 

I'm always on the lookout for something good. But there's been nothing but pine.

How's the Bronco treating you these days?

 

This past weekend I discovered that the B pillar on the drivers side has rotted enough at the bottom that it is no longer connected to the rocker. I've been on the lookout for an acceptable replacement now that winter is gone and pricing on trucks is getting more reasonable.

 

No self control.
Straight red oak, cut to size, from the dump. In my defense, I only took the pretty pieces. The bigger rounds were hollow, I left those.

 

Nothing wrong with pretty wood.

 

I wouldn't have much self control looking at those pieces in the dump either. Nice size to work with and they look to be cut pretty consistently.

 

Molly, if you would of passed on those, your FHC would have been pulled.

 

The only way that could have been better is if they loaded themselves into your car!

Found a little aged oak and some cover weights at the dump. No saw chains, though!

 

Nice stuff..the wood and granite.

 

One is too many and a thousand is never enough.
