I agree. I really didn’t want ANYTHING from this man, as I was more than happy to help him out by doing something I love to do anyway. He’s a battle veteran on top of being a recent cancer survivor, and he’s living on a fixed income. I almost refused to take the saw but I could see in his eyes that it was all he could offer and that the best thing I could do was graciously accept it.

If they’re anything like the two Echoes I have I’m going to get a ton of use out of it. I like using the homeowner saws for small to midsize work, and saving my “better” saws for the real bull work.

I won't listen to any of the PM talk show host. They all think they are politicians with unlimited privileges' to make up anything and present it as facts. There is so many other options for entertainment than to listen to trash can talk.

As a veteran, I can tell you that you did the right thing to help this man and the right thing to accept this man's gift. You have a good thing going there. Hope you will be able to continue your efforts with him and other folks.

Eric Schamell you did the right thing by accepting the saw. His way of not accepting charity. Your 36? That man is a fountain of wisdom; pick his brain let him contribute back knowledge for your labor.
I know an older vet he’s 98 iirc; he sharpens my chains. I buy and deliver him bourbon and cigars..

We have one of those 25 cubic ft fridges. We just got a 5 cubic ft chest freezer. That separate freezer was the best investment ever.

Im in the house mostly so I been getting into doing stuff like learning to cook and house work for a while now . Some stuff I make comes out not so good and some isnt bad. I made a coleslaw the other day from instructions I got from a web site and I wouldnt have fed it to a dog if I had one. I found some different instructions and going to give it a try tomorrow along with a loaf of bread with the bread maker I found in the pantry.. I also found a small rice cooler that was never used. I made some rice with supper with it today and it worked great. Its funny Barbara always did the cooking and now that I need to do it I enjoy it also. Anyway,,, Thats what I do along with Barbaras needs. Going to get out for a ride to walmart pickup this weekend. :)

Yeah, but almost nobody knows what a precis was.

There's a lot of one or two off collaborations like that though.

The last thing she sent me was a short video of Peaches by herself. Donned in an adorable haircut, sweater and booties to match, jetting around in the snow during a snow storm seriously getting her zoomies on. Adorable!

Dodge and Mitsubishi had a funny relationship for years. Dodge used their engines and a couple chassis’s for a while in cars. He eclipse was one of them and the 3000gt. They have a hand on the stealth. This was in the like 19th era of dodges downfall. Dodge Chrysler Plymouth and eagle were all the exact same thing under a different name.

When car companies merge it seems like they become indistinguishable after a while. Why do we have Chevrolet and GMC? In Japan, Honda and Acura vehicles are all Hondas.

I had a Dodge Colt with "engine by Mitsubishi" and Plymouth company listed listed in there too (It was a great little suv predecessor! ) My first car was a Mercury and as a teen I felt cool because it was different than a Ford. Recall riding in a friends Escalade and commenting how similar it was to my 97' Tahoe. I dig the step in height on my current GMC pickup and I learned from Horkn it's frame is from Isuzu (I LOVED my Isuzu Trooper, and it pretty much sounded like a diesel when idling, again, Isuzu). Too many rides in Chrysler K cars, my mother still drives a Town & Country minivan (very nice!!) and drove 2 different ancient Datsuns for a couple years each. WWW and I went out to help our manager with his GEO car, it ran on a motorcycle battery. It's all bananas!

I noticed Dodge Ram pickups now say Ram (no Dodge) shrug my shoulders.....
