    First think tomorrow is get the factory chain off and get the stihl chipper chain on and then 1 day this week I got some white oak down Im guna try it on. Got a cow and a calf now lol ms 250 and ms391 used to be 170 and 250 Yall caused this craz I could not get rid of lol

    D a m cnice here we go lol I will start looking tomorrow and what about muffler mods ? I want this thing to be a bad azz My buddys got a 290 and said when he found out about the new say he has to get 1 bigger lmao

    Everything I read the 391 lost some of the 390 weight. So good deal getting the 391.

    Friend from work has 391, but I have yet to get it across my bench. Only his 029 super and 310 so far.

    You still van pick up some power but I dont think the muff on the 391 is as bad as the 390?? Bit I have not looked a 391 over that well

    The 390 has the worst muffler I have ever seen on a 60cc + saw. The MS250 has a better flowing muffler than that POS on the 390 from 2004 up.

    Just plain ridiculous how choked up the final generation of 1127s were.

    Yep but its the same muffler on all 3 saws so it has to be worse for the 390. Trying to blow its 64cc of exhaust out of the same hole as the 56cc 290. Even less exhaust exit ratio than the 290 or 310.

    But Yea there a joke. 2 holes smaller than a pencil eraser.

    Truth.

    My FIL and BIL both have year old 290's that can barely get out of their own way...and I know it is because of the muffler (sharp chain, clean filter, tuned right, good gas). One of these day's I'll convince the to let me do some surgery on it...

    Thanks yall got the real chain on this evening I have ask around about the muffler mod and not much luck can I buy a HP muffler cut for fun cut me on this thread and is the culprit of this new saw but I LOVE IT and got it in the floor in the house so I can look at it after longh days work and a beer lol
