I placed this ad tonight, and took the option on 4 other boards (facebook)

"To the 3 men that got stuck at Lake ********* Saturday night and climbed my backyard fence and were lucky my husband to come out at 10 pm at night to help you, please return our tow strap you promised you'd return on Sunday but have not.

Got a new computer so lots to do switching tons of files from old one to new one and also learning the new system as I've used Windows 7 for many moons now. Also got new monitor. A 27" and it is much better than the old one and I notice it is easier on my eye. All this is a gift from my son! He worries about Dad, I guess.

I HATED 10 at first...got used to it eventually, and tolerate it now...still find it frustrating compared to 7.

I see the ferry boats have started their runs to Mackinaw Island now. And it is snowing like crazy now too...

I have mine shut off...you can go in and set it to "metered connection" this allows you to stop the auto updates...we get our internet via the (limited) data package on our cell phones...the first time it did a HUGE update and put us over on our data, that was it, I was gonna stop that come hell or high water!

Thanks I will look into that. I seem to have printer problems after every update.

I felt the same way when they released Windows 8. I ended up downloading "Classic Shell" so that I could navigate around with more familiarity. Truth be told, I'm still missing Windows XP
