As long as you contribute to the work I'll be happy to make sure you get paid! We could really use some help...

Cloudy start and colder today. 36* currently with some occasional rain with will be changing to system snow later today. In-laws are driving back from their winter home in Florida now so prayers for safe travel would be appreciated. We plan to visit with them tonight if they're still awake.

Morning all. Quite warm this morning with fog hovering in the distance. We are headed over to Mom's today to replace a woodshed roof. I think we have the good weather for a couple of more days.
I have a trailer of topsoil to unload so that will be a couple of days' project.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 50° this morning and blue skies. Got to do things this morning, start back on nights tonight.
Miz Jill, we got most of the goals accomplished yesterday. We got to see mama for a few minutes, a staffer had tested + that morning, so they are back on lockdown for 2 weeks.
We then went down to do the yard work. He added another section of ditch to do, it was THICK. Then we helped him on a few sprinkler heads that roots had grown into. We then went and ate lunch together, his wife was off work, got neighbor's tractor work done, added more pool cleaning to the chore done list and then split/ noodled more oak. We quit at 10:30PM.
Got to add a little more oak today. 0419212243.jpg Callie decided she liked the view from up top. She loves Miz Carol 0419212244a.jpg
    Going to Lowe's shortly.

Good heavens man. You get more work done in a day than I do all week! I really need to quit my day job... Seriously, you set a good example for everyone.

Oh, I have to do that part...lol...
I thought I was on the entitlement list...:headbang::headbang:...:whistle:
Put me on the night shift while I'm working at the plant...:D...
I know it's hard to get help.
Our baggers on production rarely put in for job promotion...ie..lab tech, calciner operator, mechanical shop...
Hiring people off the street to fill some of those positions. HR is interviewing 24 people to fill 4 jobs that should have been filled in-house...
When I started there 32 yrs ago, job opening comes up 5-10 people put in for it.
    :handshake:

I think the problem is the entitlement list has gotten entirely too long. I've had 50 applications in the last month. Haven't been able to hire anyone yet as most won't even show up for the interview they scheduled. Signs of the times I guess.

    Good afternoon, all.

I just returned from western Connecticut(Wilton). I attended a simple service for my aunt who passed last week. She was a nun for ~75yrs. At 95, she led a very full life. She prepped her entire life to be called back home.

My brother and younger sister were in attendance. Too far of a ride to take my mom and dad. My mom's sister.

    RIP, Aunt Ruth/Sr Raymunda.

Hot diggity! Got my favorite coffee today. Not fishing this morning, my partner and his wife have a meeting at the church. I have a worm bed on my kitchen table, can you tell I’m single? Got 1000 worms for $80. A cup of worms is $4.00 now, 24 to a cup. I just need to figure out what to cook today. Enjoy spring.

    Good morning, folks.

I'll be doing a bit of yard work this morning, ahead of still badly needed, rain later this evening. Then. Some grocery shopping.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy
