That W word is a swear word to me. I can't believe it took was long as it did before I got a 4 wheeler down here to use at the house and land around here. Such a useful machine. Have you tried to slime the "W" tires? That stuff works great on low speed tires.
Loon, you owe me a buck and US dollar please! The ash i worked on yesterday was right next to this and the stack is still standing! Couple pieces of bark blew off but that was it. I used the rest of the bark to cover both better.
Was cutting right near this today. A year later and the stacks still stand. Loon owes me a buck. Think ill leave them for another year to sleep.
Ha . Read thru the thread thinking it was from yesterday. I would have bet a buck against those stacks making it a year. The first time I cut basswood, I thought I was in a nice hickory. The 450 was throwing chips like a 395 and I was tossing rounds into the truck from 10 feet away. Lower end firewood for sure, but you have enough there to make about a million popsicle sticks.
